Good Morning everyone, hope you all r doing fine in your life. Today I would like to share my experience about one of the longest distance I (not just me, many riders) have ridden. As per Google Map distance is about 745 kms😘 but when you actually ride and visit here and there, 100+ kms easily clocked. So overall it was 800+ kms distance one side from Mumbai to Mount abu(M2M)👈. We started planning Mount Abu ride two months before, we were excited and nervous as well cause we will be travelling such a long distance for the first time. We prepared everything on paper which was looking good just like happy path to go☝ but before all this we need to convince our family. We all have tried our best to convince our mom, once mom is convinced, we left the responsibility on mom👱 to convince dad(smart boy 😈) and believe me our moms did it so well than anyone else in this world and she succeeded hence we as well.
On the riding day, we all left early for office so that we can come back home or directly at the assembly point as early as possible to avoid any delay in the ride. As usual I woke up early, went to office early than my regular time. I was in office by 8:00 AM, finished my pending work, updated my senior and left office by 2:30 PM. It took almost 45 minutes to reach home, bag was already packed. I geared up and left my home after taking my mom advise as always - bike arram se chala... jaada tej mat chala... pahochke phone kar (ride safely, dont rash, call once reached). We all met up at our assembly point-Jupiter hospital. We all greeted each other, talking about office how and what excuses they have given💬. Me, Kapil, Vipul & Krunal left from Jupiter hospital around 4:05 PM. After covering few kilometers we stopped at kirana dhaba on Mumbai-Ahmadabad highway, waited for few minutes by the time David arrived. We all had tea☕ & meanwhile we were discussing our plan of action and post to that we left.
We rode continuously till charoti, stopped there for petrol refueling ⛽ and took 5-10 minutes halt and started riding again. We were riding bit slow, cause we had plenty of time and we din't want to make ride full of tiredness rather wanted to enjoy highway, nature, dhaba's food and all. We were taking halt after every 100-120 kms. Somewhere in Gujarat before Vadodara we stopped around 11:30 PM for dinner at dhaba🍛🍝. We ordered multiple items(Dal makhani, chapati, tandoori roti, mix veg, dal, lassi, chatani and more...), don't be surprise no non-veg items cause dhaba was pure veg. In Gujarat, most of the time you will find veg restaurants only, some wanted non veg but I din't have any issue as I am vegetarian.  After dinner, we all needed rest. One by one we were coming out of the dhaba to sleep on the cot(khaat) which they usually have for truck drivers. That night truck drivers were standing out there and we were resting LOL. Now rest time is over, time to ride again. We started ride, we din't stopped anywhere except at refueling station. Whenever we were taking halt I was trying to call my mom, it was coming unreachable 📶, but after a lot of attempt I could make a call and talked with my mom. All of us were updating our family whenever it was possible.
In the early morning when we were about to leave Mehsana-Gujarat state, crossing through intercity ride, one of bike Suzuki Gixxer SF faced break down problem🔧🔨🔩. Luckily there was a Suzuki service center cum showroom within 1/2 kilometer range. We went in for problem fixing. We had words with staffs & manager. Manager got impressed with us coming directly from Mumbai and specially by seeing Suzuki Inazuma 250 cc. Since fixing was about to take time, manager offered us one cabin where we all can rest. He asked the staff to serve us tea and famous dabeli. We all were happy and surprised by seeing the hospitality. Mr. Santosh-Workshop manager, once again thanks a lot for your time, support & hospitality👌. I told him to open one branch in Mumbai also, Mumbaikars will be more than happy to come and visit his place👏. Once done with the bike problem, we again started ride, entered Rajasthan and reached to our resort-Great India Resort in Mount Abu.
We reached the resort in afternoon time, guess what first thing we did after reaching there? ... we searched the menu & ordered the food🍛. Meanwhile we were freshen up, pure veg delicious food came into the room, we were so hungry we were eating like anything... aisa haalat tha.. kuchh bhi khaa lenge aankh band karke, we were keep on repeating order with some new items every time. Serving guy - Manish was kinda tired by serving and taking orders and we knew that 😋. In the last we talked with him for quite sometime and he get involved with us. After so much of hunger relaxation what you need? - A bed 💤. Since it was chilled, almost 11 degree Celsius. We get into blanket and slept. We woke up after sometime to visit near by places in mount Abu. We roamed here and there, ate famous rabdi, clicked pictures and had dinner in famous "Sher-e-Punjab" hotel which is in main market area and best part is you get non-veg there hahaha which was very delicious as my friends told me. After tiring day, full of shopping, mesmerizing the places, we came back to resort and went to sleep.

Next morning, we woke up by 3:30 AM got ready by 4:30 PM. We started riding back to our nest. It was so cold, temperature was around 10 degree Celsius but on bike it was feeling 8-9, our fingers were almost frozen. When you go to mount abu there is 17 kms long ghat. It took almost 1 hour to come down as it was full of darkness with sharp turns and we wanted to pass it safely. By coming down, we had tea, snacks, clicked some pictures. We kept riding, stopped for refueling and again ride. This time we took different route to shorten the distance, but it worked reverse for us😅. We were crossing Rajasthan villages seeing group of camels, cows, goats, sheep going, different dressing style, saint areas and much more and it was great experience to watch all those thing. Kapil specially stopped and clicked some pics with camel. After crossing Rajasthan, we entered in Gujarat, but google aunty played one game with us. Google map gps always tell the route based on four wheeler and it dropped us on express highway where two wheelers were not allowed. After searching a lot and taking help of locals, would like to mention one uncle who had led us on NH48 highway which directly comes to Mumbai and two wheelers are allowed. We all raised our thumps up for his help. Now we wanted to reach Mumbai as early as possible cause we were bit late as our promises we did with our families but still we were riding safely. We all called up our home about being late.
We stopped around 7:30 PM for dinner at one of the hotel. We had dinner and left again without delay. Since we haven't slept properly, we were feeling sleepy. To get rid off that we were chewing ginger. That ginger pungent juice taste was opening our eyes and reactivating all our sensors. We din't stop, we were riding, continuously riding and finally in the morning around 3:30 AM, we reached fountain hotel thane. It took more 1/2 hour to me to reach home. I was so sleepy, was not able to open my tightened bag. Somehow I did that, went to bed and slept. It was one of the best, memorable and longest ride till date for many of us. That's how 3 days long journey comes to a happy end.
